TEMAC

TEMAC is currently accepting new memberships and renewals. Membership is $80 per calendar year, which includes a one year membership in the Electric Model Flyers of Southern Ontario, ( www.emfso.org ) which produces an informative newsletter and promotes electric flight activities. There is a one-time initiation fee of $30 for all new memberships or expired memberships as of Jan. 1, to help with field expenses.
Junior membership (under 18 years of age, TEMAC only - not EMFSO) is offered free with a parent/grandparent/guardian who is a member.

Any new pilot who does not have MAAC ( www.maac.ca ) recognized wings but is a member of MAAC, can join the club, and fly his or her model with the aid of any member who has his wings. Once competent, wings will be awarded to new members by a valid instructor. The intention here is simply to provide a welcome environment for electric model enthusiasts to fly their models in a quiet and safe area.

TEMAC is a MAAC registered and chartered club, with regulations tailored specifically for radio control electric model flight at this location.
This means that all members fly according to MAAC safety regulations, and all parties are insured. TEMAC is run as a complimentary entity to the EMFSO. TEMAC takes care of all responsibilities related to outdoor flying at this field, awarding "pilots wings" and maintaining the field;
EMFSO reports on TEMAC activities in the EMFSO newsletter, provides space on its website, and promotes TEMAC.
All TEMAC members must be MAAC members. ( www.maac.ca )
