The field is open to paid members with their WINGS, or to members who have had permission to fly solo.
The field set-up tables are in place, and the field has been rolled.
Takeoffs and landings with 2" wheels are no problem.
Please note the following:
1. At the north end of the field is a low line of trees and bush. This is the northern edge of our flying space.
The airspace north of that tree line is a NO FLY ZONE!
2. Wear sun block and insect repellent.

Please have fun, and be careful.
Think safety and be courteous to other flyers.

TEMAC is a club of radio control flyers of electric powered model aircraft. TEMAC is a registered and chartered club with the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada. TEMAC leases a 3-acre field in Stoufville, Ontario (about a half-hour north of central Toronto) where our flying season is from early spring to late fall. Members are required to have MAAC membership/insurance, must have their "wings" or pilot’s certificate to fly their models without supervision, and are entitled to free instruction and training in order to learn how to fly and acquire their pilot’s certificate, or simply to improve their skills.

History
Fall 2003 to Summer 2004
A small group of electric radio control enthusiasts (also MAAC and EMFSO members) decided to form a new radio control model airplane and model helicopter flying club.  The club was to be organized and maintained by a small group of directors strictly for the use of MAAC insured radio control flyers, who may only use electric motor propelled model aircraft. Membership was offered to MAAC members with their "wings"; who have acquired the accepted level of skill to safely and under their control, have a model aircraft take off, fly in a circular pattern around the field, fly away and towards themselves, and land the aircraft.

Any new pilot who does not have MAAC recognized wings but is a member of MAAC, can join the club and receive flight training from our instructors. Once competent, wings will be awarded to new members by a valid instructor. The intention here is simply to provide a welcome environment for electric model enthusiasts to fly their models in a quiet and safe area.

TEMAC is a MAAC registered and chartered club, with regulations tailored specifically for radio control electric model flight at this location. This means that all members fly according to MAAC safety regulations, and all parties are insured. TEMAC is run as a complimentary entity to the EMFSO. TEMAC takes care of all responsibilities related to outdoor flying at this field, awarding "pilots wings" and maintaining the field; EMFSO reports on TEMAC activities in the EMFSO newsletter, provides monthly meetings from September through May, and organizes indoor funflies.

TEMAC is incorporated, and has club bylaws and rules.

The 3 acre field comprises our parking area, pits, and runway. There is a large area surrounding for flying.
